ABOUT THE BLOG

Common questions.

What does the DealersGear blog cover?

Four topic areas: AEO (Answer Engine Optimization for dealer sites), Operations (BDC, attribution, and dealership workflow), Protocol (the Automotive Commerce Protocol and integration patterns), and Data (what we're learning from the 3,840+ dealer site audits we've run).

We publish roughly two posts a month.

Who writes the DealersGear blog?

Posts come from three sources:

The founding team (CEO and CTO write on strategy and protocol), the engineering team (technical deep-dives), and our Head of Dealer Operations (operational lessons from pilot dealerships).

Occasional guest posts from dealer principals we work with, attributed by name.

How often does DealersGear publish new posts?

Roughly twice a month, on average. We publish when we have something specific and useful to say — sourced numbers from pilots, concrete tactical guidance, or a meaningful update to the protocol. We don't publish on a calendar.

Can I subscribe to get new posts by email?

Yes. The newsletter signup near the top of the page sends one email per published post — usually 2 emails a month.

No promotional content, no list rentals, no upsell sequences. Unsubscribe is one click and is honored immediately.

Are the numbers in DealersGear posts verifiable?

Yes. Every statistic comes from one of three sources: our 3,840+ dealer site audit dataset, aggregated pilot dealer reporting, or cited third-party research (Schema.org spec, Google’s public documentation, OEM data).

Dealer-specific numbers are published with the dealer’s permission and tied to a named case study. We don’t fabricate metrics for narrative.

Can I republish or quote DealersGear posts?

Quoting is fine — up to ~200 words with attribution and a link back to the original post. Full republication requires written permission; email press@dealersgear.com.

Use of our data tables, charts, and protocol diagrams in dealer-facing materials (RFPs, board decks, internal training) is explicitly allowed with attribution.
